This is a live, interactive class. You are on Zoom with me, not watching a recording. Questions get answered while the work is happening. The class is capped at six students so I can see what you’re doing and talk you through it. Private classes are available on request.
Marmorino is not Venetian plaster. It is lime plaster with marble dust. The finish is more stone than glass — luminous, not mirror-polished. We use Bernini Marmorino, the same material from the one-day in-person workshop.
We work on a four-by-four panel with baseboard and crown molding. Same details you’d find on a wall, small enough to finish in three hours.
What we cover
Surface preparation. How the panel is primed and why marmorino needs a different read than a polished lime.
Tool selection. The trowel that belongs on this finish, how to hold it, and why the blade has to stay clean.
Tool care and maintenance. How to keep the tool true so the marble dust in the plaster doesn’t drag.
Color mixing. Tinting the lime so the color lives in the material, not on top of it.
Application. Building the coats so the surface stays tight and the stone character shows.
Burnishing. Taking it to that soft, marble-like sheen — not the glass polish of Venetian.
Sealing. How to protect the finish without killing the depth.
This is the traditional method. You watch the panel go from primed substrate to sealed marmorino, trowel in hand the entire time.
After class, enrolled students get a private replay of that session. No expiration date. The replay is for students who registered — it is not sold separately.

How it works
After you register, you receive a confirmation email with the class date and time. The Zoom link is sent the morning of class — not at checkout.
Payment policy
Payment is non-refundable. If you cannot attend, your payment transfers to a future class of your choice. No cash refunds.
