This marmorino online class is live on Zoom, not a video you buy and watch later. You buy a seat. You work while I work. You can stop me and ask questions. Capped at six students so I can see your panel.
Marmorino is not Venetian plaster. It is lime plaster with marble dust. The finish is more stone than glass — luminous, not mirror-polished. We use Bernini Marmorino, the same material from the one-day in-person workshop.
Taught on a 4×4 panel with baseboard and crown. Same details you’d find on a wall, small enough to finish in three hours. Beginners welcome.

What we cover in this marmorino online class
Surface prep. How the panel is primed and why marmorino needs a different read than polished lime.
Tools. The trowel that belongs on this finish, how to hold it, and why the blade has to stay clean.
Tool care. How to keep the tool true so the marble dust in the plaster doesn’t drag.
Color. Tinting the lime so the color lives in the material, not on top of it.
Application. Building the coats so the surface stays tight and the stone character shows.
Burnishing. Taking it to that soft, marble-like sheen — not the glass polish of Venetian.
Sealing. How to protect the finish without killing the depth.
You use the same tools and materials I use in class.
Optional kit
$175 — quart of primer, quart of marmorino, pint of sealer/wax, and a Pavan trowel. Checklist inside for roller, covers, and mixing tools you buy locally.
How this marmorino online class works
After you register, you get a confirmation email with the date and time. The Zoom link is sent the morning of class — not at checkout.
Enrolled students get the recording of that session. No expiration. The replay is not sold separately.
Payment
Payment is non-refundable. If you cannot attend, the payment transfers to a future class. No cash refunds.
