Description
This microcement online class is live on Zoom, not a video you buy and watch later. You buy a seat. You work while I work. You can stop me and ask questions. Capped at six students so I can see your panel.
We use Bernini microcement, made in Italy. Walkable microcement / marmorino floor system. Interior floors, cement, wood, tile, walls, and wet rooms. Sheltered exterior only when top-coated with Bernini microcement varnish — not paint-store varnish. Not a raw outdoor stucco.
Taught on a 4×4 panel with baseboard and crown. Mix, apply the base and finish coats, and seal. Different tools than Venetian plaster or Tadelakt. Beginners welcome.

What we cover in this microcement online class
Surface prep. How the panel is primed and why this finish fails when the substrate is wrong.
Mixing. Dry mix, water, and color. Two quarts, two colors, so you see how tint behaves.
Tools. Small trowel and 2-inch spatula. How to hold them.
Base coat and finish coat. Pressure, timing, and when to leave it alone.
Top coat. Bernini microcement varnish. Why a paint-store varnish is the wrong product on this finish.
You use the same tools and materials I use in class.
Optional kits
Classroom kit: small trowel, 2-inch spatula, two quarts of microcement in two colors, and the top coat.
Materials kit: microcement and top coat only, if you already have the tools.
Checklist inside for roller, covers, and mixing tools you buy locally.
How this microcement online class works
After you register, you get a confirmation email with the date and time. The Zoom link is sent the morning of class — not at checkout.
Enrolled students get the recording of that session. No expiration. The replay is not sold separately.
Payment
Payment is non-refundable. If you cannot attend, the payment transfers to a future class. No cash refunds.
Private microcement classes on request.
This is the class you take to find out if you want to put this finish on real floors and wet rooms.
