Description
This tadelakt online class is live on Zoom, not a video you buy and watch later. You are on Zoom with me. Questions get answered while the work is happening. Capped at six students so I can see your panel.
Tadelakt is traditional Moroccan lime. Dry mix. Interior and exterior. Showers, walls, tubs, and sinks. The surface sheds water. Same method used in baths and wet rooms. Not Venetian plaster. Not paint.
You work on a 4×4 panel with baseboard and crown. Mix, apply, compress with a river stone, and finish with olive oil soap. Beginners welcome.
Date: October 21, 2027
Time: 6:00 p.m. ET
Length: 3 hours
Class size: 6 students
Price: $250
What we cover in this tadelakt class
Mixing. It is a dry mix. How much water, when it is ready, and what too wet looks like.
Color. How to tint traditional lime so the color is in the plaster.
Application. Coats, pressure, and timing.
Compression. River stone. How to close the surface without tearing it.
Soap. Olive oil soap. How it reacts with the lime and why that is what makes it shed water.
Where it belongs. Interior and sheltered exterior. Showers, walls, tubs, sinks, wet rooms.
You use the same tools and materials I use in class.
